In this role, you will be working closely with our mechanical, electrical, and software teams to integrate our sensing products into our customer's electronic devices. We work closely with different OEMs on next generation products such as mobile phone, smart surfaces and wearables, etc.

 

This will provide you with an opportunity to understand how different products are designed and manufactured. In this role, you will see the entire process from concept design, proof of concept builds through mass production.

 

Responsibilities:

• Design/Build Prototypes and Proof of concepts
  • Create schematics for prototypes and Proof of concepts.
  • Board bring up and characterization of signals
  • Manage overseas fabrication and assembly of boards.

 

• Test/Characterization of POC and Customer Products
  • Design and build test systems, 
  • Train customers for their production calibration systems.
  • Knowledge of lab equipment to find and diagnose issues from customers.

 

• Analyze Customer Products and Competitors
  • Failure analysis on prototypes and customer field returns
  • Competitive analysis, teardown and understand competing devices.

Requirements:

 

• BS in Engineering or equivalent experience
• 15+ years working to put together proof of concepts
• 15+ years working with high volume consumer products
• Lab and equipment setup and maintenance experience
