Rehlko is searching for a Staff Analyst – Maintenance and Tool Room PS. The Maintenance and Tool Room PS will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe operation of our production equipment and facilities. This role involves managing a team of maintenance technicians, coordinating maintenance activities, implementing preventive maintenance programs, maintenance stores, and troubleshooting equipment issues to minimize downtime and optimize productivity. This individual will be a process/continuous improvement resource for the Rehlko Wisconsin based facilities. Will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of equipment, facilities, and grounds to ensure operations is able to stay running. Will have to manage the budget and headcount to levels that both support the operation and recognize financial constraints. Ensure proper observance of company policies, safety regulations and necessary training to effectively perform responsibilities.
Specific Responsibilities
Leadership
Drive the safety culture within the maintenance function.
Develop and direct the maintenance program, including policies, objectives, plans, procedures, and systems in accordance with established company specifications.
Plan and prioritize maintenance activities based on production schedules, equipment criticality, and resource availability.
Conduct regular inspections of machinery, tools, and facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and opportunities for improvement.
Coordinate with production, engineering, facilities and procurement teams to plan and execute maintenance projects, upgrades, and modifications.
Establish and maintain relationships with equipment suppliers, service providers, and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance support.
Monitor and analyze equipment performance data, downtime reports, and maintenance records to identify trends, root causes of failures, and opportunities for optimization.
Implement preventive maintenance programs, predictive maintenance techniques, and reliability-centered maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime and lifespan.
Manage the divisional maintenance budget ensuring maximum value for the company. This includes monthly/yearly financial projections of maintenance costs, and all maintenance financial goals and objectives.
Develop a system to manage spare parts and lead the adherence to it, ensuring that the right parts at the right levels are stocked in maintenance stores.
Conduct EHS area inspections and assist facilitating 5S workshops, prioritize and support overall facility safety targets.
Manage manpower staffing including hiring, training, performance, and development of team members.
Drive team engagement.
Ensure compliance with all applicable safety and environmental regulations, codes, and standards.
Continuous Improvement
Analyze critical and recurring repair problems, initiate required actions and provide technical assistance and follow-up.
Drive quality data in SAP to enable effective quantitative analysis of work order data.
