Overview:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, and entering journal entries

Prepare and record assets, liability, revenue, and expense journal entries by compiling and analyzing account information

Monthly entries pertaining to Union Contributions accrual, revenue accruals, expense accruals

Intercompany transfers and production billing activity for various divisions. Some shows include Drew Barrymore Show, Inside Edition, Nickelodeon Slime Time, various Sports Network shows such as We Need to Talk, Weekend College Football, Inside College Football etc. Some brands include CBS Media Ventures, Interactive, Sports Network, Paramount Media Networks

Reconcile daily and weekly Production Billing activity to the GL

Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations

Prepare Quarterly deliverables

Perform all month-end Intercompany confirmations

PWC Requests
-
Serve as a business partner across Controllership and FP&A teams
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
-
2+ years of professional accounting experience with general ledger functions and supporting month end/year end close process

Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP), standards, and practices
-
Intermediate proficiency with Excel (Pivot Tables), Word, Outlook etc
Additional Qualifications:

Experience with ERP systems, such as Oracle

Well-developed written and verbal communication skills

Solid organization and analytical skills

Accuracy and high attention to detail

Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines

Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $64,800.00 - 83,700.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
