WWC Global is seeking a Staff Accountant with a strong attention to detail. The Staff Accountant will be part of a collaborative team, applying principles of accounting and assisting the Accounting Team in day-to-day functions supporting operations for multiple legal entities.
Duties included but may not be limited to:
- Accounts Payable Duties
- Receive vendor invoices, verify to purchase orders (two-way match), enter in Accounts Payable, then process for payments.
- Respond to vendor payment inquiries and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Audit and approve high volume employee travel expenses reimbursements and ensure adherence to JTR, Contractual and Company Travel Policies.
- Provide ad-hoc and recurring support, analysis, and reporting.
- General Accounting Duties
- Assist Controller and Senior Accountant during month end close process.
- Prepare month end reconciliations, research and resolve discrepancies on key balance sheet accounts including but limited to Fixed Asset, Prepaid and Cash Accounts.
- Assist in preparation and posting of month end entries.
- Provide ad-hoc and recurring support, analysis, and reporting.
Expected salary range $60,000 - $65,000
Work Environment:
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.

Travel:
- 0-10% / Minimal travel.

Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience required.
- Ability to pass a federal background investigation including fingerprinting.
- Experience in ERP supporting a federal agency or defense contractor.
- Experience with government contracts and payments.
- Flexible with ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
- Possess strong attention to detail.
- Must have a strong work ethic with defined sense of urgency.
- Must be an organized self-starter.
- Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
