Job Description

QAD is looking for a Senior Technical Pre-Sales Training professional, responsible for developing and delivering training to the pre-sales team. You will own the demo environment, analyze, design, develop and deploy appropriate enablement solutions to all levels of customer-facing pre-sales engineers and business consultants. The Senior Technical Trainer is part of the Global Sales Enablement team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for QAD’s target industries and solutions, and be well-versed in the industry language applied to products and internal processes, and the industries we serve. The training should effectively impart product learning and promote a culture of change and continuous learning. Training should instill high-impact customer-facing Challenger-based discovery, solution demonstration meetings,  and presentations. The successful candidate will be a dynamic presenter and public speaker, as well as an engaging facilitator.

• Use your strong interpersonal, building relationships, partnering, and influencing skills SMEs, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to get things done on the development and delivery of enablement content
• Prioritize to meet the needs of technical audiences with varying levels of technical depth to provide high-impact immersive product and demo skills training
• You will leverage materials from the product release, Marketing solutions and industry, and R&D education team, to create training to improve customer-facing meetings, presentations, and demo consistency across the pre-sales organization.
• Scale product education programs for new and existing employees through multiple methods of delivery; online on-demand, online live, and in person instructor-led training
• Develop and deliver high-quality training experiences with enablement resources such as presentations, videos, courses, workshops, demo scripts, demo practice, and quizzes
• Maintain training curriculum, training content, and materials in online productivity tools
• Define and manage a repository for training content.
• Identify and define key metrics for assessing training effectiveness
• Collect and analyze data to evaluate learning program effectiveness.
• Define methodology and training strategy and assessment program

Qualifications

• You quickly absorb the deep knowledge of experts and can instill them into concise training materials with an eye for user experience, design, and adoption
• Experience designing and developing training with technical subject-matter content, ideally for SaaS products, with multimedia authoring tools
• Experience in learning delivery, via web conference tools, & in person
• Hands-on experience with demo platforms (setup, troubleshooting, maintenance), SaaS, Cloud, Demo environment, HTML 5, NET UI, Adaptive UX, PC 4.0, Google, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Windows and Linux VM, SSO, SAML
• Strong project management skills and experience with collaborative work management space
