NOTICE OF FILING OF APPLICATION UNDER THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF
LABOR’S PERMANENT LABOR CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
Sr. Staff Product Industrialization Engineer, OESL Automotive USA LLC, Sun Prairie, WI:
Coordinate the product and process industrialization function for Automotive Rubber plant operations. Execute on change management for new products, materials, equipment, or new/relocated production processes, according to internal standards. Update product-specific production specifications, such as production cycle times, process characteristics and parameters, according to internal standards. Ensure the achievement of the product and process industrialization targets according to internal and external customer expectations. Translate business, project, and product-specific requirements into tangible impacts on the plant (e.g., investment, capacity, capability) and assess plant readiness. Update product-specific Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis according to local conditions and standards. Perform product-specific requests for testing and start-up of the production process and pre-series production (e.g., ensure run rate) and hand over to the production series according to standard. Update the product-specific production flow chart and production control plan in close cooperation with Quality and work instruction (pre-series, series) according to standards provided by central research and development and application engineering.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, $111,930.00 - $141,770.00 per year.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in the Automotive Rubber industry.
Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:
- Continuous Improvement and Manufacturing Engineering;
- Project and Change Management;
- Product Life Cycle methodology;
- Feasibility analysis for new products or changes to products;
- Rubber production processes and ramp-up projects;
- Managing project budgets;
- Providing technical direction and feedback to other industrial engineers or technicians; and
- Industrial problem-solving methodologies, including Ishikawa diagram, Brainstorming, or Pareto analysis.
Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:
- Rubber hose drawing interpretation;
- Routing and BOM (Bill of Materials) SAP modules;
- Using Minitab to analyze hose dimensions and quality results;
- Using Excel Pivot tables and formulas to track manufacturing/production activities;
- Risk assessment methodology; and
- Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis.
Domestic and international travel required up to 10%.
