Sr Specialist, Field Support

This position is a key member of the Field Planning team, within the Commercial Operations Organization. The Sr Specialist, Field Support will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company’s Fleet program, overseeing all aspects of fleet management. This includes coordination of company-issued vehicles and employee reimbursement processes. The position requires a highly motivated individual able to work cross-functionally.
Alkermes has recently adopted a hybrid working environment to support and meet the needs of employees and this role will operate in a flexible environment with 60% of time in the office and 40% from home.
Vehicle Program
- Directly responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Fleet program
- Coordinate all aspects of Fleet Management, Company issued vehicles and reimbursement
- Partner with our Fleet vendor to provide guidance and support
- Update and communicate the annual open window process
- Ensuring drivers are properly trained on company policies and procedures
- Assist in overseeing the Fleet safety program
- Respond to Field questions in a timely fashion
- Ad hoc analysis and assisting on special projects
- Adaptable to a fast-paced environment with the changing priorities, tasks and client conditions
Credentialing
- Coordinate and support the credentialing process for field-based personnel
- Manage relationships with credentialing vendors and external agencies to ensure efficient processing and compliance
- Provide guidance and education to field teams and managers on credentialing expectations and timeline
- Partner with HR, Legal, and Compliance to ensure credentialing processes align with company policies and jurisdictional requirements.
Free Goods Reporting
- Generate monthly Sample and HIFT Compliance reports
- Generate monthly Brand reports for samples (Aristada, Lybalvi, and Vivitrol)
- Ad hoc report requests as needed from Brand, Legal, and Compliance
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- 6+ years’ experience (preferably in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry)
- Bachelor’s degree required
Knowledge/Skills Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Advanced skills in MS Office Products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $84k to $96k. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual performance pay bonus.
