Sr Software Engineer

Overview

T. Rowe Price seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Owings Mills, MD to analyze, design, build, and implement infrastructure solutions for technology needs to ensure the infrastructure and applications are robust, scalable, secure, and efficient. The position will research problems, conduct installations, and evaluate new technologies related to dev-ops, security-ops, application security, and infrastructure resiliency and robustness.

Minimum Requirements

• The position requires a Master of Science degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related quantitative or technical field, plus 2+ years’ experience as a Site Reliability Engineer working with Infrastructure and Micro-services. 
• 2+ years' experience with Production Incident management and on-call rotations, programming skills in Java, Python, Golang, monitoring applications and infrastructure using Prometheus and Grafana. 
• 2+ years' experience in configuration management using ansible, maintaining complex software ecosystems and cloud computing, deploying applications to the Cloud (AWS or Azure or Google Cloud Platform) using Infrastructure as Code practices like Terraform. 
• 2+ years’ experience with Linux system administration and troubleshooting, Network configuration and routing protocol like BGP and ISIS.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for remote work up to three days a week.
