Sr Software Engineer (Hybrid Eligible)

These cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems. You'll perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of systems and software throughout our development process. Your technical duties involve the design and development of new software products throughout the product lifecycle.

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related Engineering field. Must-haves:

• Bachelor's degree in related engineering discipline and 10+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools
• Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
• Fluency in object oriented languages like: C#, Java, C++
• Strong mathematical fundamentals, including linear algebra and numerical methods

Preferred:

• Experience with software tools for requirements tracking, code reviews, static analysis, library and artifact repository, and automated build
• Experience in Cross-Platform software development
• Experience with embedded systems and designing & developing software that interacts with hardware
• Experience with DO-178/MIL-STD-882 and applicable Design Assurance Level (DAL) certifications
• Experience in Agile development
• Proficient with data structures
• Automate testing and command execution using a scripting language (e.g. Python, Shell Script, etc)

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $120,552.10 - $165,759.14. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
