Overview of Role

We are seeking a Senior Robotic Process Automation Engineer to join our team on a 6 + month remote contract to hire perm opportunity with one of our Clients; interested individuals must meet all requirements below, be able to work central hours and start ideally within a 1-2 week notice period.

As a Senior Robotic Process Automation Engineer, you will be part of the team that paves the way in automation, engaging on the most strategic and complex projects and initiatives supporting digital transformation delivery. The ideal candidate will be part of an Automation Team working to discover, architect, design, develop and implement RPA solutions for various internal and external clients to replace existing manual workflows. The Senior RPA engineer will report into the CTO organization as part of the enterprise architecture and design team.

Responsibilities

• Provide architecture guidance for process design using UIPath products stack
• Work with stakeholders to discover, design, and developer business process producing PDD
• Work with other IT teams, PM, BA, Product Owner, Process Owner to deliver RPA solutions leveraging UIPath products stack
• Work with structured project plans, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the delivery manager accordingly and provide inputs to the change control process
• Create access control interfaces via the Application Modeler within Object Studio
• Responsible for peer code review
• Create and document test procedures and scenarios for the pre-UAT phases
• Support the Operational Teams during the UAT and rollout phases through production
• Work collaboratively with test teams during the Product test and UAT phases to fix assigned bugs with quality

Qualifications

• UIPath Developer/Architect certification is required
• Hands-on experience with RPA leveraging UIPath product portfolio as admin and developer
• Overall 7+ years experience with robotic automation, with 2+ years experience with UIPath
• Basic knowledge of HTML, Javascript, PowerShell, or other scripting languages
• Understanding of Windows OS and web applications
• Programming and coding skills in any domain will be an asset (Experience or proven knowledge/education in coding), ideally Python, .NET, NodeJS
• Proven Knowledge of Integrated development environments
• Ability to document and design business processes and knowledge with technical software design document
• Demonstrated ability to creating and writing test procedures and scenarios and validating test results with technical and business stakeholders
• Strong client and interpersonal skills with the ability to understand the business process and create process flow diagrams for call center, quote, customer engagement, broker management, producers, and carriers
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience

• Ability to understand technologies such as web services, databases, SQL, and other web-based development tools
• Ability to estimate the time, money, and effort impact of automation alternatives
• Ability to apply multiple automation technical options to enable future-state business capabilities that, in turn, drive targeted business outcomes
• Ability to quickly comprehend business processes and functions and capabilities of existing and processes to support the delivery of business value to various business areas
• Demonstrated ability to work well with others and be respected within team and organization
• Application architecture experience within the enterprise is a plus
