Position Summary: The Senior project manager must have a disciplined approach to managing clients, planning, organizing and utilizing resources. This position is detail-oriented but can also think of the ‘big picture’ strategy to drive our client’s business forward while building long-lasting client relationships. Managing various types of projects from research & strategy, design, development, and deployment of web and software products. This position must have some experience delivering technical eCommerce projects with a fair degree of autonomy and initiative in the Salesforce Commerce Cloud ecosystem.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

• Define, manage and execute various types of projects for clients to maximize client business objectives, manage client expectations, and maintain profitability. 
• Foster collaboration among a cross-disciplinary team to deliver exceptional business results. 
• Maintains big-picture strategic and operational thinking balanced by strong attention to detail. 
• Manage all communications between clients and internal team members on a given project. 
• Provide resourcing recommendations and continuously monitor the effectiveness and bandwidth of the team.  
• Participate in meetings with existing clients and internal teams to identify new opportunities to meet clients’ evolving needs as required; serves as the subject matter expert on processes, capacity, timelines. 
• Provide mentoring and coaching to team members
• Organizing the work for supporting project coordination activities. 
• Integration with larger-scale programs 
• Management of complex project timelines, budgets, scope and risks to help deliver optimal quality
• Supporting program or project estimation efforts to help generate statements of works or Change requests related to supported accounts 
• Tactical modeling and strategic resource management to support complex project change 
• Minimal travel is required to client sites.

• 3 - 6+ years of Project Management experience in an eCommerce and digital design environment. 
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree of education relevant to the industry. 
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate will not be hesitant to have conversations with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of the project
• Excellent problem-solving, organization, time management, and risk management skills. 
• The ability to be self-directed and work in an ambiguous and dynamic environment. 
• Competency in tools such as smartsheets, Jira, Confluence and G-Suite.
• 2+ years minimum of resource management experience
• Excellent scheduling and planning skills with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously while also actively managing project timelines
• Project financial management of budget, ETC, EAC and profitability.
• In-depth knowledge of eCommerce best practices and experience implementing commerce platforms in an integrated digital transformation program.

Preferred Skills: 

• Experience working in an Agile framework, Scrum Master Certification is a plus.  
• Experience working in a hybrid scrum fall environment
• Familiarity with common development systems and frameworks in Drupal, Magento and Salesforce Commerce Cloud
• PMP Certification
• Having knowledge of the latest trends and tools in the industry is a welcomed addition to the role.
