Sr. Project Engineer

A lead engineer or supervisor who is very familiar with End of Line Testing (EOL) processes, module flashing, and configuration
i. Should be able to recommend and document process improvements, integration with the manufacturing data system, etc.
ii. Provides day to day hands on guidance, leadership and coordination for the overall team supporting in-plant software flashing, configuration and diagnostics

iii. Supports required process changes to achieve overall flashing strategy as outlined in the Module Data List
iv. Assist in process development for data flow from MES to in-plant tools
v. Responsible for integration of software flashing tools into the production process

  2. iFlex on-line configuration and flashing - Bosch
  3. Flashing stations - Roush
  4. Others - Brusa, American Battery Solutions (ABS) and etc…
  5. Oshkosh Diagnostics Tool (OKDT) Bosch
vi. Ensure alignment of Operations work instructions to support flashing, vehicle configuration, diagnostics and etc…
vii. Supports development of automated diagnostics, quality and inventory checks
viii. Assist and coordinate process development for data flow from in-plant tools to backend data lake
ix. Supports pre-production and production on-line vehicle flashing, configuration, diagnostics and post process software updates as required

Required skillset
• Flash various modules – in-vehicle through diagnostic or OBD port, update/flash test bench
• Experience with Vector tools – Canoe, Canalyzer, DET
• Experience in troubleshooting electrical systems – read and interpret schematics, determine root cause of issues, collect, review and interpret data
• Experience in EOL process – document work instructions, post build updates, process flow and data collection
• Ability to learn new tools and train junior engineers
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools, Jira etc.
Travel upto 25% to facilties in Wisconsin and Michigan
