The Senior Program Manager is a key leader within Alkami’s Corporate Development Operations team, responsible for driving complex, high-visibility programs related to mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on program execution, ensuring critical initiatives are delivered successfully and align with Alkami’s long-term growth objectives. In addition to managing individual projects and programs, this role plays a critical part in designing program management frameworks, mentoring others, and guiding enterprise-wide collaboration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in program and project management, preferably within a corporate development, M&A, or strategic planning environment, and possess a blend of strategic vision and operational expertise.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Program & Project Execution:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of programs and projects across the M&A and partnership portfolio.

• Serve as the operational owner of an M&A pipeline platform, ensuring effective management and tracking during M&A activities.

• Play a critical role during the due diligence phase of M&A, coordinating functional teams, consolidating findings, and ensuring risks, issues, and observations are properly assessed and escalated.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project and program documentation, including charters, plans, timelines, and status reports.

• Create and maintain integrated program roadmaps and dashboards that communicate timelines, milestones, and interdependencies.

• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and successful outcomes.

• Foster seamless communication among internal teams, executives, and external partners, ensuring clarity of goals, dependencies, and deliverables.

• Oversee and coordinate multiple projects, optimizing resources and timelines across workstreams

Strategic Leadership:

• Define and implement a scalable program management methodology and governance framework.

• Serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders, translating corporate objectives into actionable program plans.

• Drive post-merger integration initiatives and lead value realization tracking across business functions.

• Act as the primary program liaison to senior executives, prepare program updates, mitigation plans, and insights for C-level audiences, and facilitate cross-functional decision-making.

• Evaluate program and project performance, recommend improvements, and ensure alignment with overall business strategy.

Team & Operational Enablement:

• Mentor team members, elevating the maturity of program execution across the team and the rest of the organization.
