Sr. Program Manager

The Role:

As the Sr. Program Manager, you will provide hands-on leadership to a team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators. You will organize, direct, manage, and control activities of multiple external customer facing programs that are large and complex in scope. You will build strategies and come up with project schedules, deliverables and artifacts to lead and support concurrent programs from inception to completion often involving more than 50 team members. You will also lead program teams based on identification of needed expertise and requirements and directing the activities of project teams.

What you’ll do: 

• Manages various hardware and software programs from inception to completion. 
• Hands-on leadership supporting a team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators to develop and  project schedules and assigns action items needing to be completed.
• Defines strategies and initiates and implements new programs to benefit iA.
• Tracks and proposes solutions to technical issues, provides expertise to quickly resolve problems, and implements solutions for program problems as they arise.
• Identifies technical impacts on the company as they relate to business requirements.
• Participates in executive meetings and shares program and project progress and information with external clients, management executives, other professionals in the company
• Keeps projects on schedule and within budget, including cutting costs when needed.
• Budget responsibilities are based on project requirements.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 12 years' project management experience including at least one year program management experience
• PMP certified or willingness to obtain your PMP certification within one year of position entry

Even better if you have:

• Master’s degree in management
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively and be driven by group feedback
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet given deadlines
• Close attention to detail, without losing sight of the bigger picture
• High sense of personal accountability and self-motivation

Compensation:

The estimated base annual salary range for this position is $114,808.80 to $157,862.10, though a candidate's base annual salary shall be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience. This position may additionally be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
