Job Description

We are looking for a highly strategic and analytical Business Planning and Operations Senior Manager for the North America (NA) Money Movement Solutions (MMS) - Business Strategy and Planning Office. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic direction and driving business growth in the NA region. This individual will be responsible for leading the strategic planning process, creating business reviews, managing regional operating models, driving the business's forecasting, budgeting process, and developing performance measures that support the business's strategic direction.

The team reports to the NA MMS Chief of Staff and is comprised of payments professionals with strong analytical and problem-solving skills who are responsible for developing business plans, delivering strategic initiatives, and managing the NA MMS GM’s agenda.
Purpose and Scope

Drive business planning to develop long-term strategic plans, operational plans, business forecasts and manage the operating budget under guidance of the Chief of Staff

Create business reviews presentations and executive management updates, requiring strong analytical skills to interpret business data and trends, and excellent communication skills to report findings effectively

Oversee NA MMS resource allocation (including budgeting and personal) along with the organizational operating model aligned to business goals and OKRs - collaborating with leads to ensure high operational efficiency and effectiveness

Work closely with the Chief of Staff to prioritize regional initiatives based on potential impact, resources required, and alignment with strategic objectives

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and integrate business plans, operating structures and strategies for NA MMS

Identify and drive opportunities for continuous operational improvements, implementing necessary changes to streamline efforts

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at
least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA,
JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
7+ of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of experience with
an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
5+ years of management consulting, or payments industry experience with
exposure to business planning
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, fast learner with critical thinking
skills
Proactive self-starter who takes ownership of their own learning and success
Excellent communication and storytelling skills (verbal & written) with the
ability to explain complex concepts to a broad audience in an approachable
way
Strong project management and organization with the ability to independently
lead and manage
complex projects with multiple work streams and cross-functional stakeholders
Strong team player, self-motivated and the ability to work independently at coordinating cross-functional activities, obtain buy-in and elevate issues at critical junctures appropriately
