Your role:

The Operational Excellence team takes pride in being a trusted advisor and solutions provider to Ingram Micro Operations. We supply a broad array of services including strategy deployment, process improvement, business intelligence, root cause analysis and project execution in order to deliver world class customer experience and financial performance.

  • Analyze, define, and develop the organization's business process methods and practices.
  • Assess requirements for internal business processes, ensuring compatibility with organizational strategic goals.
  • Implement new processes, evaluate existing processes, and recommend optimal solutions and improvements.
  • Partner with business process owners and management on strategic initiatives.
  • Use quantitative analysis methodology to perform data, cost and benefit, and/or process measurement analysis.
  • Research industry trends for application of process improvement techniques and best practices.
  • May train key users on new processes.
  • Collaborate with leaders and teams across Operations to execute key strategic initiatives and priorities to accelerate performance of Operational Excellence, including leading performance improvement initiatives to develop and implement process standardization and efficiencies.
  • Facilitate and educate the organization on continuous improvement activities such as Kaizens and Root Cause Counter Measure problem solving from project creation to closure.
  • Coordinate and align projects with the site and the regional initiatives.
  • Develop detailed project charters, including scope, timeline, and resources along with status reports.
  • Coordinate and aggregate monthly project financials for reporting. Reporting utilizes Excel and PowerBi.
  • Produce training guides for Operational excellence processes.
  • Aid in the scheduling, training material development and publishing via website.
  • Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional teams and department.
  • Leverage data to assess project performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize results.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities within the Operational Excellence team to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Deploy ESG initiatives focusing on Waste Stream Diversion & Recoveries, Utilities and Emissions, Cap Ex (investment) Strategy, TI/Government Subsidies, Regulations and compliance measures, Playbook-Best Practice Development.
  • Track and report ESG Targets built into L2 VDM and Performance Goals. Establish sustainable strategies to consistently reduce Lights and Heat metrics. 
  • Celebrate and communicate on achievements.
  • Continuous associate engagement, education and implementation of environmentally friendly programs, products, technology and waste streaming programs.
  • The objective is the sustainably exceed the driving KPIs overall 10 to Zero targets of 100% diversion from landfill and reduction of utilities used to overall reduce Green House Gas emissions to Zero. 
  • May need to consult with Senior/Specialist staff members on some technical issues.

What you bring to the role:

  • A four-year college degree and 5 years functional experience, including a minimum 2-year position specific experience in Operational Process Excellence.
  • Computer skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite, Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, Word, PowerPoint Visio, PowerApps and Viva Engage; programing software, and SQL, knowledge of WMS preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills required. Proficiency in PowerBi desired. Video editing a plus. 

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $84,500.00 - $143,700.00 per year.
