About the Job:
The Sr. Process Improvement Specialist is responsible for assisting and supporting improvements in all operational processes performed in Vandalia, Illinois.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
• Work with site leadership to implement strategic plans and initiatives to drive operational excellence and achieve business objectives.
• Collaborate with site leadership to establish operational goals, targets, and KPIs aligned with the company's overall strategy.
Operational Management:
• Supporting the site Leadership and Process Improvement Manager with project ownership for key process improvement projects across the Vandalia, IL location.
• Support the site Leadership Team in executing process improvement initiatives and collaborate with peers across other FMS sites to ensure alignment, consistency, and the implementation of best practices throughout the business unit.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Understand continuous improvement techniques appropriate to a service, warehouse and manufacturing environment (such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S or Lean) and deploy these within project or functional teams.
Team Leadership and Development:
• Work with the Leadership Team to identify and develop individuals that will contribute to a high-performing operations team.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Provide resources and support to the Leadership Tema and peers to help them achieve their goals and excel in their roles.
• All other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
• Strong understanding of customer service, production, packing, transportation and logistics operations, including freight management, warehousing, and distribution.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to change.

Required:
• High School diploma - Some college/college degree a plus
• Strong written and verbal skills
• 2-4 years relevant work experience
• Ability to sit for extended lengths of time.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Location:
This is an in-office role based in Vandalia, IL

As required by applicable Pay Transparency laws, Odyssey provides a range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic location, or other relevant factors. The salary range for this position may be lower or higher in different markets.

The base pay range for this position is: $55,000 to $60,000.
