Sr. Principal, Transformational Program Manager

The Nike Acceleration Office (NAO) is dedicated to inspiring Nike around our Next% strategy by identifying & prioritizing new sources of value & speed, delivering value from our portfolio of initiatives, building sustainable transformation capabilities, and empowering & developing a world-class acceleration team. The Transformational Program Management capability sits within the NAO with a charter to establish a consistent delivery framework for initiatives & driving strategic implementation from vision to value realization.  

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

The Transformation Program Management team is seeking a Senior Principal, Transformational Program Manager to help drive key initiatives that support the Next% strategy at our World Headquarters Campus in Beaverton, Oregon! Our focus is to accelerate the delivery of value, establish new transformational capabilities with the business, and lead broad cross-functional change. This candidate should have strong end-to-end program management and organizational skills, and the ability to build positive working relationships across a matrixed organization. They should be able to lead the team through high ambiguity and creative problem-solving, calling on their extensive Nike experience to customize for the needs of the business.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON 

As a Senior Principal Transformational Program Manager, you will lead critical deliverables across one or more key areas of Nike in support of the initiative. These areas may include areas such as: Consumer Fields of Play, Corporate Functions, Marketplace, and our Geographies. You will lead iterative end-to-end delivery of value for our consumers, creating a positive team culture, and encouraging teams around a common goal of fueling innovation.  

A typical day/week includes managing the single sources of truth for the initiative, leading cross-functional meetings to keep the team coordinated, advancing insights/findings/roadblocks to the Senior Leader (Initiative Owner), and supporting executive-level reporting on overall initiative health. 

Key responsibilities include:  

• Align and validate feasibility of delivery - work breakdown structures, sequencing/critical path analysis, milestones identification, impact mapping, and dependency mapping & management. 

• Increase predictability, confidence, and accelerate resolution - track & manage risks/issues/decisions, establish a decision-making framework, escalation path identification, and scope/change control. 

• Track progress toward value realization - status reporting, work tracking & visibility, initiative measurement & reporting, initiative communications, and confidence assessment.
