Position Specific Description

Main job duties:

• Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
• Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes
• Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and KPI’s.
• Identifies issues and challenges, measures and validates results, and implements solutions
• Provides expert information to internal and external clients on complex issues
• Creates and communicates presentation materials for report out and updates with various levels of internal and external stakeholders
• Conducts external research and stays abreast of new developments or innovative advancements pertaining to the project
• Originate, review and sign project documentations as operator representative 
• Review Verification documentation and ensure accuracy of ER documentation to meet verification schedule 
• Provides coaching, leadership and direction to project team
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
• ~30% travel required

 

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Working experience as a technical project manager or operations support engineer on a variety of small-to-medium scale projects 
• Strong engineering background with a solid understanding of energy or chemical process development. Specific experience with Coal Mine Methane treatment is a plus.
• Experienced at interfacing with multi-disciplinary teams in executing assigned projects (i.e., Originations, Development, Permitting, HS&E, Business management, Operations, Construction, Commissioning and Operations)
• Exemplary presentation skills
• Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and subcontracting)
• Familiarity with power and gas industry standards and equipments
• Familiarity with managing capital expenditure (CAPEX) and Operating Expenditure (OPEX) on assigned projects.
• Familiarity with Compliance Offset Protocols

•   Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

•  Bachelor's - Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program
•  Experience:5+ years
