Sr. Paralegal, Regulatory

The Sr. Paralegal, Regulatory will have primary responsibility for administrative filings for AEG and its subsidiaries and affiliates, as well as for the supported optometry practices and serve as a strategic legal operations partner, supporting both corporate legal functions and Professional Employer Organization (PEO) operations. The successful candidate will have significant corporate experience, with an emphasis on the full range of state and local filings, permits, and certifications required to be maintained for these entities. The successful candidate will also have a proven ability to work independently and effectively (with a strict adherence to confidentiality) and a goal of improving and optimizing the regulatory and business filings process. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assume primary responsibility for identifying, tracking, calendaring, and reporting on all required state and local AEG business entity and supported practice regulatory and administrative filings, licenses and permits

• Interface with regulators to resolve inquiries and ensure compliance with filing requirements

• Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting corporate entities and PEO operations

• Coordinate directly with other AEG departments, as required

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in paralegal studies or extensive in-house or law firm experience required

• Experience in health care is preferred

• Proven collaboration with others, capable of managing multiple priorities, and willingness to see a task to completion

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

• Proficient in legal tech platforms and document management systems

• Works well under pressure, meets deadlines, is very organized, and responsive

• Must have dependable attendance record

• Must adhere to company policies and strict confidentiality requirements
