About This Role

Are you interested in joining a dynamic Medical Business Operations team dedicated to supporting the Worldwide Medical Technology & Analytics team as we prepare for launching a new product? There’s an immediate need for an extra set of hands as we prepare our supported platforms and processes , while balancing our day to day operational workload. The individual in this global role will act as a strategic partner to Field Medical Leadership, Medical Excellence, and other Medical Business Operations functions to ensure that necessary business processes are established and supported with technology and analytics to enable Medical Affairs to meet its strategic goals and priorities

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the execution of the technology and analytics roadmap for Worldwide Medical.
  • Identify solutions for business processes that need to be supported by technology
  • Lead opportunity identification, enhance capabilities, and communicate with stakeholders on solutions.
  • Scope and plan initiatives, projects and/or programs to deliver technology roadmap.
  • Define ways of working, and delivery and change management channels to embed best-in-class medical engagement platforms

You are an individual who enjoys using and embedding technologies to help support Medical Affairs business operations.  You have a curiosity to use novel technologies and data driven analytics to help support business decisions. 

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Communication – Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional colleagues at all levels of the organization; able to listen and interpret requirements of internal customers and ask probing questions to clarify needs.
  • Business Acumen – Able to think and act both strategically and tactically; an intelligent decision maker with sound business judgment who isn’t afraid to speak up and challenge current thinking.
  • Analytical – An intellectual curiosity and strong analytical skills; able to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, and problem-solve; always on the lookout for continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Resourceful – Able to find solutions and deliver results within tight deadlines, while following established procedures and best practices to ensure long term success.
  • Team player – Highly collaborative and able to build strong relationships with Commercial and IT counterparts; willingness to share knowledge, best practices, and key priorities and lend a helping hand when needed.
  • 2 years of experience working in a Medical or Medical Operations function
  • 3-5 years of experience working with Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, and/or comparable CRM and CMS tools
  • Experience in leading/supporting CRM transformation/build across business functions in a global organization
  • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and project management principles
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Business related discipline

Preferred Skills

Advanced degree (MBA or other relevant Masters) preferred
