Supernal provides an inviting open-space workplace designed to foster collaboration, which aligns with one of our core values. This position is required to work on-site 5 days a week.

What we do:

The Senior Manager, Quality Management will develop and implement a Quality Management System (QMS) to support future Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) design, manufacturing & operations. This role reports directly to the Chief Safety Officer and will work in close collaboration with the Flight Test organization as well as other engineering and research and development teams. The role will also require collaboration with aviation regulators and industry stakeholders. You will develop processes and procedures consistent with U.S. Federal Aviation Administration regulations. Additionally, you will ensure that all Supernal quality management processes are implemented consistently and in accordance with international Standards and industry best practice. This will include development of a Supplier Quality Management System specific to AAM operations.

What you can do:

  • Develop and manage the Supernal Quality Management System in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Develop and manage the Supernal Supplier Quality Management System to ensure that products and services provided by Supernal suppliers meet Company requirements
  • Collaborate with Civil Aviation Authorities and aviation industry stakeholders responsible for the implementation and oversight of Quality Management Systems
  • Represent Supernal on rulemaking committees and other venues responsible for development of Advanced Air Mobility regulations
  • Develop a plan to establish a Quality organization required to support the production and operation of Supernal aircraft

What you can contribute:

  • Bachelor’s degree in quality management or related field required
  • A minimum of 15 years’ experience in aviation manufacturing, including experience in the development and implementation of aviation Quality Management Systems for certificated air operators or aircraft manufacturers
  • Demonstrated experience in the development Quality Management Systems certified to be compliant with the AS9100 standard

Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of total compensation.

The pay range for this position is:$251,000$320,600 USD
