The Sr. Manager, FP&A is a critical role within the Beyond Yoga organization. In this role, you will report to the CFO of Beyond Yoga. You will be responsible for building out end-to-end finance support for Beyond Yoga with an emphasis on short and long-term financial planning and detailed financial analysis of our business. You will be the direct manager of three senior financial analysts. You will be a key finance business partner to the leaders of the Beyond Yoga senior leadership team including our heads of Ecommerce, Retail, Wholesale, Product Creation, Marketing, Merchandise Planning & Inventory Management, and Human Resources. You will lead the interpretation and analysis of financial, operational and business performance results. In addition, you will partner with, and influence, cross-functional stakeholders to improve the financial standing of Beyond Yoga which is a top company priority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing decision support to the leaders of Beyond Yoga. Influence operating decisions through insightful analysis of strategic business decisions for all cross functional partners.
- Drive monthly and quarterly financial close process for Beyond Yoga in partnership with our Accounting team.
- Support in the management of essential balance sheet/cash flow items related to the Beyond Yoga business.
- Manage the interpretation and analysis of financial, operational and business performance results of Beyond Yoga to achieve annual financial commitments.
- Lead forecast and planning process for Beyond Yoga together with the business and planning teams.
- In partnership with our leaders, develop long-term strategic business plans to grow, and improve profitability, of our Beyond Yoga business.
- Actively lead and participate in cross-functional meetings, and projects, to drive attainment of financial goals.
- Provide financial guidance for investment initiatives.
- Build out FP&A department, lead and develop direct resources, create foundational processes to prepare us for outsized growth in the next 5-10 years.
Qualifications and Relevant Experience:
- High degree of curiosity, flexibility and adaptability.
- At least 7-10 years of relevant professional experience in retail, apparel, or digital business.
- Understanding and experience with Full P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow generation.
- Understanding of key retail business KPI’s (i.e. traffic, Conversion, AUR, UPT, Labor, CAC, LTV, ROAS, etc.).
- Experience with enterprise systems required to operate an apparel business (i.e. ERP – preferably S4 Hana, POS – preferably Shopify, planning and analysis tools).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high quality results.
- Proven ability to work with all levels and departments within an organization.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and a strong executive presence.
- Prior people management experience.
