Compensation includes a base salary of $117,300.00 - $195,500.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

Senior Manager, Technology Vendor Management

The Senior Manager, Contracts is responsible for leading a team of contract analysts. The team manages a high volume of hardware and software purchases for Cox Automotive a $9B provider of software to the Automotive industry. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to negotiate favorable terms and conditions with key technology vendors, drive cost savings, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Who You Are

An experienced leader who can effectively lead and manage a high-volume back office hardware and software purchasing function. This includes direct team leadership and continued improvement in the team’s efficiency and effectiveness.  Demonstrated familiarity with internal back-office operations including with relevant finance, accounting, purchasing and budgeting, concepts.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the full contract lifecycle for major technology vendor agreements
  • Facilitate successful contract renewals, amendments, and terminations
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, legal, procurement, and finance teams
  • Standardize contracting processes and templates
  • Develop and implement effective and efficient policies, procedures, and training to ensure consistency and compliance in vendor management
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in enterprise technology procurement
  • Mentor and develop a team of contract specialists and analysts

You have:

  • 5+ years of experience successfully contributing in a software product development environment.
  •  Interest and expertise in interpreting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
  • Strong understanding of software licensing models, cloud computing, and managed services.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis, budgeting, and financial modeling.
  • Ability to lead collaboratively across multiple teams and functions consistently driving results.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Experience driving high-impact projects spanning multiple teams and numerous stakeholders
