Sr. Logistics Analyst

The Senior Logistics Analyst position will provide direct customer support and oversight for the development and management of Materiel Release and Type Classification activities. Candidate will support U.S. Army programs on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. Position may require full time support in a traditional office setting, remotely, or a hybrid approach. Candidate will be required to coordinate and interact with all levels of USG staff over multiple disciplines, should be comfortable leading discussions, and giving presentations.

Key responsibilities shall include:

• Provide Materiel Release (MR) Project Management by leading MR and Type Classification activities.
• Responsible for the coordination of Hardware and Software MR efforts including Software Releases (SRs), Software Materiel Releases (SMRs), Urgent Materiel Releases (UMRs), Training Materiel Releases (TMRs) and Full Materiel Releases (FMRs).
• Create compliance matrixes, analyze associated cost, determine critical paths, and create integrated master schedules.
• Work with government leads to obtain safety, suitability, and supportability documentation.
• Develop, coordinate, and staff memorandums such as Memorandums for Record, Memorandums of Agreement or Understanding, Requests for Waivers, Requests for Exemption, etc.
• Serve as the liaison between product offices, logistics and technical leads, materiel release functional authorities, related agencies, and multiple levels of leadership.
• Ensure all activities and documentation are in accordance with AR 770-3, DA PAM 770-3, AR 700-127, DA PAM 700-127.
• Develop presentations and briefing materials.
• Update the Material Release Tracking System per AR guidance for all MR activity.
• Review SOWs, CDRLS, ECPs, and MWOs.
• Provide input or reviews for documentation such as Life Cycle Sustainment Plan, Materiel Fielding Plan, Plan for Materiel Release, Demilitarization and Disposal Plan, Production Risk and Readiness Review, Basis of Issue Plan Feeder Data, LogDemo Report, etc.
• Lead or support logistics and technical working groups/integrated product teams.
• Ensure the twelve Integrated Product Support elements are being considered.

Requirements

Experience

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree
• 8+ years of Materiel Release related experience
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required
