Brown & Brown Insurance is looking for a Sr. Insurance Placement Specialist to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida!


WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Disbursement and tracking of submissions to the market place.
  • Assist in analyzing insurance exposures and account summaries
  • Assist Marketer in transition bound accounts to the respective account management teams.
  • Assist in reviewing quotations prepared by our carriers for accuracy and completeness.
  • Talk to producers/account executives and gather information needed to obtain quotes from the market place
  • Prepare invoices and required documentation to bind accounts
  • Issuance of binders, certificates, automobile identification cards, invoices and similar items.
  • Be proficient in available carrier rating systems where provided for Agency use.
  • Rate submissions and complete applications and other required documentation
  • Assist the marketing department in obtaining and analyzing quotations and declinations from various companies.
  • Assist Marketer in transition bound accounts to the respective account management teams.
  • Assist in resolving omitted items and commission differences when necessary.
  • Assist in the compilation and preparation of marketing and underwriting data, including but not limited to: loss runs, Motor Vehicle Reports, etc.
  • Prepare/finalize proposals and coordinate the layout of the proposal and presentation with producers/account executives
  • Document all marketing activity in the agency management system.
  • Assist with preparing invoices and required documentation to bind accounts.
  • Develop a good working knowledge of company underwriting philosophies and appetites.
  • Ensure that systems, procedures, and insurance company regulations are adhered to by the department and alert management should any problems arise.
  • Attend Marketing Team meetings as scheduled.
  • Establish positive working relationships with producers/account executives.
  • Develop a full working knowledge of department procedures.  
  • Keep Marketing Analyst informed of any service problems.
  • Utilize agency automation with a high level of knowledge and proficiency.
  • Pursue a program of personal and professional development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Attendance is a requirement for this position.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • 2-20 license is required
  • 2 + years experience in agency marketing.
  • Familiarity with industry forms, coverage, and an overall familiarity with the insurance marketplace.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Online rating tools preferred.
