About the Role:

CrowdStrike is hiring for a Sr. Infrastructure Engineer to help take our Kubernetes and metrics platforms to the next level. We are looking for a highly technical, hands-on Engineer with experience using several open source projects commonly found in large scale deployments. The right candidate will have in depth experience with Kubernetes, its many add-ons, Prometheus, Thanos, Alertmanager, and Grafana. Additionally, the candidate will have experience and opinions on how to ensure reliability of platforms that are operating at massive scale.

What You'll Need:

• Kubernetes

• Prometheus

• Thanos

• Alertmanager

• Python, Bash

• Experience with large scale, business-critical Linux environments

• Experience operating in clouds, preferably Amazon Web Services

• Experience operating in custom data centers

• Familiarity and ability to manage on call shifts

Bonus Points:

• Proven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams

• Rock solid communication skills, verbal and written

• A combination of confidence and independence…with the prudence to know when to ask for help from the rest of the team.

• Bachelor's degree in an applicable field, such a CS, CIS or Engineering

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $130,000 - $205,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
