About the role

The Sr. Engagement Director, Data Solutions is a critical leadership role responsible for the end-to-end delivery, strategic management, and commercial success of multiple Data Solutions accelerators and Analytics Ready Dataset (ARD) engagements. Reporting directly to the VP of Product, Data Solutions, the Engagement Director is the primary accountable party for accelerator delivery, client relationship management, and account expansion (accelerators are defined as capabilities and offerings that enable Precision AQ to deliver specific differentiating abilities quickly and consistently and are typically 60–70% fully functioning solutions that enable repeatable delivery of a defined business problem, with the final 30–40% (“last mile”) requiring customization specific to the client, product, and therapeutic area).

In this role, you bridge the gap between commercial strategy and technical execution, serving as the offering and product Subject Matter Expert (SME) alongside the broader Data Solutions (DS) client service team. You function as a “leader-coach” to a high-performing team of Engagement Managers, ensuring seamless execution across delivery models within a highly integrated onsite-global organizational structure

This role can require up to 30% travel

MAIN DUTIED AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Advisory & Account Management

  • Play a critical Offering/Product SME role when tagging with the broader DS client service team to pitch, scope, and expand the business footprint across accelerators and ARD.
  • Understand the complex business challenges clients face in the market access, payer, and provider commercial data space, ensuring our solutions are strategically on target.
  • Manage day-to-day client communication on strategy, planning, and delivery, functioning as an extension of the client’s team.

Product/Offering Delivery & Operational Excellence

  • Oversee the flawless execution of multiple accelerators and ARD deployments across various engagement models.
  • Lead delivery from “accelerator core” through “last mile” customization—ensuring repeatability, speed-to-value, and high-quality client-specific adaptation.
  • Manage and optimize onsite-offshore delivery operations, ensuring tight, friction-free coordination with India-based technical and content teams.
  • Closely manage project budgets, resource allocation, and team efficiency to maximize return for both the client and Precision AQ.
  • Actively interpret market dynamics, scientific information, and clinical/preclinical data to ensure ARD outputs meet the highest standards of data integrity and commercial value.

Team Building & Mentorship

  • Act as a dedicated “leader-coach” to 2–4 direct reports (North America-based Engagement Managers).
  • Mentor, train, and coach team members to facilitate their professional growth, taking accountability for development plans, annual reviews, and day-to-day execution.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-trust environment that encourages resourceful problem-solving and minimizes matrix politics.
  • Lead by example, balancing a competitive drive for delivery excellence with a spirit of collaboration and integrity and our core principles – Client Service, Purpose, Accountability, Mutual Respect and Collaboration.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10-12 years of relevant professional experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare consulting, data product delivery, or market access strategy.
  • Hands-on experience in market access, payer, patient, and provider commercial data space required. Experience in Pharma commercialization process required. Market Access domain expertise is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record managing complex data product deliveries (including accelerators and ready-to-use datasets) through engagement and account level delivery models.
  • Demonstrated experience operating, leading, and driving efficiency within a distributed onsite-offshore organizational model.
  • Exceptional account management and client-facing skills; confident presenting to and advising senior-level stakeholders in a variety of scenarios.
