You will apply strong technical expertise and sound engineering judgment to deliver robust, high-quality designs that meet rigorous product and regulatory requirements. In this role, you will own substantial portions of circuit and subsystem designs, support system-level architecture decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional partners across product engineering, firmware, new product introduction, manufacturing, and quality teams. You will also mentor junior engineers and contribute to raising the technical bar within the team while continuing to grow your own technical leadership capabilities. Join a passionate engineering team dedicated to overcoming complex challenges, and help deliver technologies that positively impact Law Enforcement, Public Safety, and their surrounding communities.<br><br><strong>Your Day-to-Day </strong></p> <ul> <li>Research, propose, and develop innovative, industry-leading circuit designs for products such as TASER energy weapons, TASER-enabled devices, wirelessly connected TASER products, and related accessories</li> <li>Design, develop, and verify system circuitry and hardware aligned with project objectives and requirements</li> <li>Using OrCAD Schematic tools, design embedded Mixed-Signal electronic circuitry that integrates high voltage power supply circuitry, microcontrollers, flashlight/indication/display circuitry and drivers, memory devices (FLASH/EEPROM), switch-mode and linear power supplies, batteries, data interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, USB), RF transceivers, electromechanical transducers, and other discrete digital and analog components</li> <li>Collaborate with PCB designers to guide layout implementation and review designs for signal integrity, power integrity, manufacturability, and reliability using Cadence layout tools</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, technology partners, and manufacturing teams to oversee electr
