As the leader responsible for leading a team of experienced Strategic Accounts Directors, your role encompasses a range of strategic responsibilities aimed at achieving company objectives within assigned top IDN and Health System accounts. Here's a breakdown of your key responsibilities:

 

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Strategic Accounts Directors.
  • Set clear objectives and provide guidance to ensure the team achieves company objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

Account Strategy and Business Planning:

  • Oversee the development of strategic business plans for top segmented accounts.
  • Ensure alignment of strategic account plans with both customer goals and company strategies and initiatives.
  • Conduct SWOT analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats within each account.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Create and maintain engagement with "C" Suite stakeholders within the assigned accounts.
  • Foster strong relationships and rapport with key decision-makers and influencers.

Performance Monitoring and Review:

  • Conduct quarterly business reviews to evaluate progress and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Review sales performance, customer annual reports, IQVIA Healthcare Data, and other relevant metrics to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.

Solution Development and Presentation:

  • Lead the development and implementation of Total Value Evolved (TVE) solutions, including clinical and health economic offerings aligned with Wound Care, Biogel, Antiseptics & Post-Acute key targets.
  • Develop and present contracting proposals to Commercial Pricing Committees and leadership meetings.

Sales Execution and Negotiation:

  • Represent the company in strategic sales calls and virtual meetings.
  • Lead negotiations with key stakeholders to drive mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Coach and develop the team in effective negotiation techniques and maintaining effective customer relations.

Coordination and Collaboration:

  • Coordinate account selection and segmentation in collaboration with other business areas.
  • Ensure alignment of overall account strategies and tactics with field sales, clinical, marketing, health economics, commercial operations, and senior leadership personnel.
  • By effectively executing these responsibilities, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, strengthening customer relationships, and advancing the company's strategic objectives within the assigned top IDN and Health System accounts

What you'll need:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 3 - 5 years successful leadership experience managing a team; medical device area leadership experience preferred
  • 3 - 5 years successful Strategic Account Management and or Health Economics experience preferred
  • 10 - 12 years experience in business-to-business sales; experience in medical device is strongly preferred
  • Marketing, sales training or other corporate support experience desirable
  • Extensive knowledge of selling processes, business planning, and business development strategies
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating with IDN “C” Suite customers,  including education and awareness, collaborative contracting including risk sharing, standardization and utilization and delivering on short and long term goals
  • Proven track record working in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Experience in gaining regulatory, finance, and legal as well as company specific approvals on customer tools and programs
