About the Role:

MoneyLion is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Director of Performance Marketing to lead our efforts in driving customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth through data-driven performance marketing strategies. This senior leadership role will oversee the development, execution, and optimization of our multi-channel marketing initiatives to ensure scalable growth and strong ROI. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in performance marketing, a deep understanding of the fintech landscape, and a passion for leveraging innovative strategies to deliver exceptional results.

This role is located on-site 4 days a week at our headquarters in Chelsea, NYC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive performance marketing strategy aligned with MoneyLion’s business goals, driving customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Channel Management: Oversee multi-channel performance marketing efforts, including paid search, social media, display, affiliate marketing, programmatic advertising, and emerging platforms.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Leverage analytics and A/B testing to continuously refine campaigns, improve performance metrics, and maximize ROI across all channels.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and results

About You:

  • Over 10 years of marketing and leadership experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Significant acquisition and performance marketing expertise, particularly in a rapidly scaling business. 
  • Expert in media mix optimization, both above and below-the-line channels, with a proven track record in top leading brands.
  • Strong financial and business acumen; critical thinker with robust analytical skills. Importantly, this leader will be able to synthesize results with key P&L owners to meet objectives.
  • Experience developing integrated marketing strategies and incorporating acquisition within broader digital marketing efforts.
  • Demonstrated ability to advise on marketing budget allocation and optimize spend based on performance.
  • Agency management experience; exceptional collaboration skills with a history of managing client/partner relationships internally and externally.
  • Track record of driving results and leading execution on cross-functional teams.
  • 5+ years of leadership/management experience.
  • Proven track record in business planning and achieving growth results for a top brand. Particularly a financial services brand
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the rigor and discipline to build business and creative competencies that distinguish MoneyLion in the market.
