Sr Director, Information Security Operations

The Sr. Director, Cyber Security, is a key leader in driving security strategy, policies and standards across the company’s business lines. This individual will also manage a team that works closely with business lines, to ensure that technical security controls are being implemented effectively, all which play a key role to ensure that security is integrated into key business processes and operations. This Sr. Director will supply read-outs to the CISO on the efficiency of security measures and acts as a liaison between the business, technology, and security teams, to ensure alignment across strategy, goals, technical security direction, prioritization of cybersecurity efforts, resources and delivering results on our Cyber Security Program. The Sr. Director will report to VP, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

Work Experience, Education, Certification/Training Required
- 4 Year College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or relevant alternative
- CISSP, CISM or relevant alternative security certificaitons preferred
- 10 + years of information security or technical experience.
- Experience and familiarity with information security tools, processes, and standards
- Technical security expertise, business acumen, and communication skills
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards.
- Ability to conduct research into security issues and products as required.
- Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
- High level of analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Intuition and keen instincts to prevent attacks.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Able to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Ability to develop and automate security policies.
- On-call and after-hours work availability as needed.
