As a strategic partner, a Sr. Director - Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) creates and executes talent and human capital plans that help drive business outcomes. You will serve as a consultant to leadership, assessing and anticipating human capital related opportunities, advocating for teams, and supporting change initiatives across the business. You will also build partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added services that reflect the business objectives of the organization. 

You will focus on organizational effectiveness and design to better enable the performance of the business. To effectively support this organization, the HRBP must maintain a high level of business literacy including the organization’s financial position, strategic plans, culture and competition.  Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise to operate independently and provide informal leadership to others. Uses sophisticated critical thinking skills, leading others to solve complex problems and takes a broad perspective to identify innovation solutions. You will make decisions guided by policies in nonstandard situations that impact the achievement of customer, operational, or project objectives. You will also forecast and plan resource requirements for complex projects or initiatives.

  • Business acumen: HR Business Partners need to have a solid understanding of the organization's operations, financials, and overall strategy to effectively align HR practices with business objectives.

  • Strategic thinking: HR Business Partners need to be able to develop and implement HR strategies that support the organization's goals and objectives, and be able to anticipate and respond to future business needs.

  • Relationship building: HR Business Partners need to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including senior leaders, managers, and employees, to effectively support HR initiatives.

  • Communication: HR Business Partners need to be able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including presenting data and insights in a clear and concise manner.

  • Change management: HR Business Partners need to be able to effectively manage change initiatives, including communicating change, addressing resistance, and ensuring successful implementation.

  • Talent management: HR Business Partners need to have expertise in talent acquisition, development, and retention to effectively support the organization's workforce needs.

  • Data analysis: HR Business Partners need to be able to analyze and interpret HR data to inform decision-making and measure the success of HR initiatives.

  • Problem solving: HR Business Partners need to be able to identify and solve complex HR problems, often requiring a creative and analytical approach.

  • Collaboration: HR Business Partners need to be able to work collaboratively with other HR professionals and teams to ensure consistent and effective delivery of HR programs and services.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with the EFX leadership team or other senior leaders with significant enterprise impact to ensure that HR strategy at the highest BU/COE level is aligned with business strategy. 

  • Interpret complex business strategy and identify Human Capital opportunities. Engages to improve business outcomes through talent optimization

  • Provide guidance on organization design, workforce planning, learning and development, and succession planning

  • Leads change management and workforce planning efforts 

  • Drive implementation of key HR programs such as succession planning, performance management and compensation programs

  • Coach managers to drive greater productivity while identifying potential areas for growth across teams 

  • Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies

  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues; conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations

  • Work closely with leadership and employees to foster higher engagement and improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention of key employees

  • Participate in special projects as needed

What experience you need

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or other related disciplines, or equivalent related experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a consultative HR Business Partner in a complex corporate environment

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience and worki
