Primary Purpose of this Position:  

The Sr. Director, Global Supply Chain Logistics will oversee logistics operations, focusing on continuous improvement, capacity planning, and network modelling in transportation and warehouse management to ensure strategic efficiency and operational excellence. 

 

What will you be responsible for? 

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across logistics processes, driving a culture of ongoing optimization. Identify areas for enhancement to increase overall efficiency, fostering a commitment to excellence within the logistics operations. 
• Develop and implement robust capacity planning models for transportation and storage. Proactively forecast and plan for future capacity needs, ensuring the logistics infrastructure is strategically aligned with organizational growth and market demands. 
• Design and develop intricate logistics network models to optimize delivery speed and cost-effectiveness. Conduct comprehensive analyses to enhance supply chain networks, improving route optimization. 
• Oversee and optimize processes for the efficient handling of reverse logistics, implementing strategies to reduce costs and enhance sustainability in managing product returns. 
• Ensure operational excellence in warehouse management processes, overseeing best practices for inventory management, order fulfillment, and warehouse layout. Maintain a high standard of efficiency, accuracy, and organization in warehouse operations. 
• Integrate and leverage advanced logistics technologies such as automation, IoT, and data analytics to streamline warehouse operations. Implement innovative solutions for improved visibility and operational efficiency. 
• Collaborate effectively with various business units to align logistics strategies with overall organizational goals. Foster open communication channels and coordinate efforts to integrate supply chain activities across the organization. 
• Maintain strong relationships with logistics service providers, engaging in proactive negotiation and effective contract management. Ensure cost-effectiveness and uphold service quality standards, contributing to a reliable and efficient supply chain. 

 

What are we looking for? 

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field; with a preference toward an advanced degree (MBA or higher).  

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in progressive experience in logistics management. 

• Ability to devise creative solutions for logistics challenges. 

• Effective collaboration with various stakeholders. 

• Skilled in managing logistics service providers. 

• Identify and mitigate logistics risks. 

• Manage large-scale logistics projects. 

• Knowledge of logistics operations. 

• Ability to adapt to changing market dynamics and logistics environments. 

 

Compensation & Benefits: 

• This role can be remote, but will require 50% travel. 
• Hiring Salary Range: $159,500 - 271,900 USD*. Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.  
• This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
