Sr. Developer/Engineer

KBR is seeking a Sr. Developer/Sr. Engineer to join our teams supporting US Navy programs in San Diego, CA. This is a full-time, on-site role at the Naval Air Station. M-F 8- 4:30 pm.

In this role, you'll be one of the talented and inspired developers providing program management and application development for the worldwide military and civilian MEASURE/METCAL calibration community.  This is a unique opportunity for an engineer/developer to immediately contribute to the creative process to develop solutions from concept to delivery. Our motivated team works collaboratively, maximizing shared knowledge, technique, and solutions in an Agile principled environment. 

Basic Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen

Clearance:  Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance or currently hold an active/current Secret Clearance

Education:  BS in Computer Science/Related Field OR 8 years of additional experience in place of degree.

Experience: Minimum at least 7 years of experience, that includes

• 5 Years - Oracle Database Engineering Design, Scripting, PL/SQL.
• 2 years -  Web application development, design, coding and testing.
• 2 years -  Object-oriented application development using a multi-tier architecture with a focus on database-driven web applications
• Experience may be concurrent.

Highly Desired but not required

Certifications:  Security+, Oracle Database Certified Associate, Database Design & Programming with SQL , Agile –Scrum Development

Contract Requirements will Prevail.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week

Relocation:  KBR does offer relocation assistance to qualified candidates

Compensation: $127,820-191,730. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
