We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Analytics Project Manager to lead and manage high-impact analytics-driven projects within our Diabetes Business, particularly focusing on MiniMed IQ initiatives. This role demands a strategic leader with extensive experience in SCRUM methodologies and a strong background in data analytics. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects that align with business objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.


Location: Hybrid, based in Northridge, CA or Atlanta, GA.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and manage end-to-end analytics projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and successful implementation of MiniMed IQ initiatives

  • Employ SCRUM methodologies to plan, execute, and deliver projects, including facilitating ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews while fostering a culture of agility and continuous improvement

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, data scientists, analysts, and IT teams to define project scope, deliverables, and success metrics

  • Manage project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, proactively resolving challenges to maintain project momentum

  • Drive effective communication and reporting across teams, ensuring transparency on project progress and outcomes

  • Monitor and report on project performance using appropriate tools and metrics, ensuring accountability and adherence to established standards

  • Promote best practices in project management, analytics, and agile methodologies across the organization

 

Must Have Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field with 10+ years of Project/Program Management experience, with at least 3 years managing analytics or data-driven projects

  • Or, Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field with 8+ years of Project/Program Management experience, with at least 3 years managing analytics or data-driven projects

 

Preferred: 

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS in Analytics, or related field)  

  • SCRUM Master certification 

  • PMP Certification  

  • Expertise in SCRUM and Agile methodologies, with a track record of successful project delivery

  • Proficiency with  analytics tools, processes, and frameworks (e.g., data visualization, predictive modeling, machine learning)

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, MS Project, and PowerPoint

  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data management platforms
