Job Description

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Computer Network Architect to support the Department of the Navy, Naval Air Systems Command, NAWCAD continuing requirement for NAWCAD WOLF IC2&I Distance Learning Systems (DLS) providing technical and project management support, operational support, systems engineering support, and system hardware tracking support to perform tasks in support of assigned Distance Learning (DL) and Knowledge Management (KM) related technologies and systems. This position will require working onsite in Patuxent River, MD and the candidate must be within 50 driving miles from St Inigoes, MD.

This is contingent upon contract award.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of networks, including monitoring and responding to hardware, software, and network problems. 
• Design and implement computer and information networks, such as LANs, WANs, intranets, extranets, and other data communication networks. 
• Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning, including analyses of capacity needs for on premise and cloud network infrastructures. 
• Design network and computer security measures. 
• Research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software. 
   

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
• Client experience requirements: Of the minimum seven (7) years of required experience, at least two (2) years of the experience must be with engineering networks supporting the DoD. Additionally, at least five (5) years of experience must include practical experience in secure network and system design, analysis, and procedure/test generation.
• Client education requirements: BS/MS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution. 
• An active Secret security clearance is required. 

Preferred Requirements

• A CISSP certification is preferred.
