WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Monitor cloud security controls (e.g., AWS VPCs and SGs, IAM, SIEM, etc.)
• Interact with stakeholders across all technical teams globally. 
• Support architectural reviews and governance processes to ensure alignment with organizational-defined Enterprise Architecture strategies and standards.
• Develop solutions and processes to mitigate security risks and automate repeatable tasks.
• Stay current on the latest cloud security trends, threats, and vulnerabilities, and implement proactive measures to address emerging risks.
• Partner with other teams to ensure IAM controls are part of a defense in-depth strategy
• Provide guidance and training to internal and partner team members on best practices for enterprise and cloud security.
• Serve as a key technical security partner for engineering teams.
• Develop and deploy continuous compliance monitoring capabilities.
• Own cybersecurity operational metrics for application and infrastructure engineering teams.
• Possess knowledge of reliable and low-touch infrastructure using technologies such as Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker supported by other engineering teams.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED 

• Passion for information security and learning.
• 4+ years of cloud computing experience in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Understanding of modern cloud technology components and deployment patterns: containers, Kubernetes, serverless, infrastructure as code, etc.
• Deep understanding of Identity & Access Management security controls and tooling
• Strong understanding of securing distributed cloud networks using security groups, network ACLs, VPNs, and WAFs among other technologies
• Strong understanding of security monitoring tools for cloud environments such as CSPM and cloud audit logs such as AWS Cloudtrail
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and writing and reviewing Terraform
• Experience with aligning to risk management frameworks such as NIST 800-53, FedRamp, and ISO27001.
• Experience deploying services in a multi-cloud environment, with particular value on Azure and AWS expertise
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills.

• Expertise with learning new technologies and familiarity with our tech stack: Jasmine Framework, JavaScript, Node.js, Jest.js, GraphQL, Apollo GraphQL, Go (Programming Language), PostgreSQL, Postgres, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Docker, Github
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or solid knowledge of CS fundamentals (OOP, design patterns, algorithms, etc...)
• Experience and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Desire to work on the next generation of Artificial Intelligence applications.
