Job Description

We are seeking an IT professional  who is  passionate about the use of technology to achieve business goals.  The ideal candidate is self-motivated, thrives on working across multiple teams, and can use technology to solve complex business problems. The role focuses on advancing the capabilities of our  supply chain business systems using the latest best of breed cloud and edge technologies that are  integrated as part of our broader Oracle ERP environment. 

As a Sr, Supply Chain Business Systems Analyst you will work with business and IT teams to deliver innovative solutions as part of our major transformation program that includes  major initiatives in Supplier Collaboration, Supply Chain and  Scenario planning,   and End to End Procurement.  You will partner with a  solution architect and have  primary responsibility and accountability for the implementation and configuration of the design into the new technology platforms.    

The desired candidate must have a proven track record of experience in the deployment of business system capabilities and transformation projects.  In addition the candidate should have a working knowledge of the following: 

• Oracle / Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Modules including Supply Chain Planning (Demand and/ or Supply)

• Any additional experience in the following modules would be a plus -  Inventory, Manufacturing,  Procure to Pay, and Order Management

• Hands on experience with requirements gathering, solution design, system configuration, testing, and documentation.

• Strong analytical skills to analyze and interpret business needs and translate them into application and functional requirements

• Experience in emerging technology platforms including one or more cloud-based applications that cover such areas as supplier collaboration, supply planning and procure to pay is strongly desired.

The candidate must be a self-motivated team player who has the ability to work and communicate well with technical and business partners. We expect that the person in this position will proactively identify impactful solutions for the future or find improvements to the existing systems.   In addition, the candidate should be able to provide subject matter expertise and collaborate with various IT support teams for resolution of critical production issues.

Note: Candidate must reside in the Chicagoland Area (will be in Elgin office 3 days a week)
