Job Description

The Sr. Analyst is responsible for ensuring our Sales Operations and Marketing businesses can perform their day-to-day activities utilizing our linear and digital traffic and promo systems and integrations. This role provides end user support for a variety of systems which assist with functions such as sales, planning, pricing, campaign management, traffic/operations, creative, promotions, ad serving, delivery and billing.  

Responsibilities

  • Liaison between the Sales Operations and Marketing business users and technology organization, providing consistent and frequent updates to users on progress and resolution of requests, defects and enhancements.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with the user base, ensuring customer satisfaction during all interactions.
  • Take ownership of tickets from a queue to answer user requests which may involve investigating, training and testing to help resolve.
  • Work in a team setting with counterparts on solving issues at hand but also able to work solely on tickets.
  • Work with a ticketing system to track, categorize, prioritize and communicate status to the business.
  • Identify and manage software defects and work with software vendors and engineering teams to resolve and implement solutions.
  • Execute system configurations such as commercial break patterns, network design, inventory shares, user data collection and targeting, video measurement, and programmatic ad serving.
  • Understand how issues impact the business and escalate critical issues when necessary.
  • Support and troubleshoot issues (process and system- both linear and digital), identify root causes, and proactively implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Provide systems support to meet established SLAs during business hours, with occasional evenings and weekends as needed and during special events.
  • Identify new opportunities and services to enhance the systems platform and drive more productivity/efficiency.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with Ad Sales Trafficking and / or Promo Optimization systems.
  • Must be willing to have a flexible work schedule to meet operational and special event coverage needs.
  • Must have experience with customer interactions and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Must have strong interest and aptitude when working with and learning new software and technology.
  • Must have experience within media industry.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in product support / training within media industry strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Digital Ad Sales Traffic systems
  • An understanding of DAI ad serving technology and product taxonomy
  • Technical background – experience setting up system integrations, troubleshooting ad tech issues, and system configuration
  • Self-motivated and accountable, with a high level of commitment to responsibility.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to work across multiple groups.
