What you will do

The Senior Analyst, Category Insights to Action plays a critical role in translating data into meaningful insights that fuel category strategies, retailer activation, and omni‑channel excellence. This role supports the Category Insights to Action team by delivering high‑quality analysis, insight synthesis, and foundational category work that informs both internal decision‑making and customer-facing storytelling. The analyst will operate in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and collaborate across cross‑functional partners including Shopper Insights, Customer Strategy, Category Excellence, Sales, and Brand. We have two positions available for this role—one within Self-Care category and the other within Skin Health category, you will be supporting only one.
 

Key Responsibilities

Insights Generation & Analytics

  • Pull, analyze, and synthesize data from syndicated sources (IRI/Nielsen/Circana) and shopper panel (e.g., Numerator)
  • Identify trends, whitespace opportunities, and category/shopper dynamics across Self Care or Skin Care sub‑categories.
  • Build insight summaries that ladder up to recommendations.
  • Ensure data accuracy, organize datasets, and validate outputs prior to analytical review.
     

Support Category Strategy & Activation

  • Support development of Self Care or Skin Care category fundamentals, including assortment foundations, pricing diagnostics, brand/shopper landscapes, and seasonal priorities.
  • Translate insights into action‑ready materials such as category opportunity maps, “insights to action” pages, and recommendation frameworks.
  • Assist in identifying emerging shopper trends, unmet needs, and omni‑channel behaviors relevant to Self Care or Skin Care.


Customer & Internal Partner Support

  • Build supporting analyses for category specific strategies in collaboration with the Manager and Associate Manager.
  • Contribute to shopper-led narratives that position Kenvue as a trusted category advisor.


OmniChannel & Space Support

  • Integrate eCommerce insights (search, digital shelf, ratings/reviews, path-to-purchase) into category assessments.
  • Support space and assortment projects to guide merchandising direction (JDA experience a plus but not required).
  • Track competitive activity across both in‑store and online environments.


CrossFunctional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Shopper Insights to ensure research outputs are integrated into category activation.
  • Partner with Customer Strategy, Sales, and Brand teams to align on category priorities and ensure consistency across deliverables.
  • Support the team in developing best practices and improving workflow efficiency.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Economics, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in category insights/management, analytics, shopper insights/marketing, or related CPG environment.
  • Familiarity with syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen, Circana) and shopper panel sources (Numerator).
  • Strong analytical ability: can interpret data and translate into clear, struct
