We are seeking a highly accomplished AI Solutions Engineer to spearhead our digital transformation initiatives in the realms of AI Ops and solution design. In this pivotal role, you will help with the design, implementation, and optimization of AI solutions that enhance operational efficiency, and bolster infrastructure reliability. Collaborating within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), you will engage with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into technical realities, delivering high-quality, scalable platform that aligns with our strategic goals.

**This is a hybrid position based at one of the following locations: Cedar Rapids, IA; Charlotte, NC; Windsor Locks, CT; Richardson, TX; or Rockford, IL.**

What YOU will do:

• Partner with teams across the organization to ensure the seamless integration and successful delivery of solutions, adhering to SAFe's collaborative ethos. 

• Articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences, fostering seamless collaboration across SAFe teams. 

• Develop a scalable architecture for an AI platform with model and agent services. 

• DevOps methodologies, and AIOps strategies, championing containerization and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices. 

• Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks associated with projects and initiatives, considering the broader implications within the SAFe context. 

• Develop integration strategies with existing enterprise systems. 

• Collaborate with AI engineers and business stakeholders. 

• Ensure platform scalability, security, and compliance. 

• Enable efficient deployment of AI solutions by internal AI engineers.

• Ensure the platform meets the needs of business users across the enterprise.

Qualifications YOU Must Have:

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder).

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.

• 8+ years of progressive experience in software development and IT.

• 3-5+ years of hands-on development expertise.

• 2-3+ years in leadership or senior engineering roles demonstrating the ability to technically lead and inspire teams. 

• Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze requirements, architecting comprehensive solutions across multiple domains (enterprise, application, data, integration, infrastructure, security). 

• Strong analytical skills and proactive problem-solving abilities, with a deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, cloud architecture, and enterprise software. 

• In-depth knowledge of web services, microservices architectures, and SOA. 

• Mastery of advanced software design paradigms and programming languages.

• Mastery of cloud-native architectures and deep expertise in major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). 

• Proficiency in DevOps methodologies, tools, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins). 

• Familiarity with AIOps concepts and tools with Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, AWS Sam Script).

• Experience with XR technologies (e.g., Unity/Unreal Engine, Quest/Vive/Hololens 2 development).
