Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities

• Record fixed asset purchases, transfers and disposals in accounting ERP system

• Prepare the monthly depreciation expense by asset class

• Prepare monthly Property, Plant and Equipment (PP&E) roll-forward of fixed assets and reconciliations

• Perform fixed asset related analyses as requested

• Manage annual capital budget process

• Prepare capital schedules for executive and Board review

• Prepare journal entries for general ledger

• Prepare various other reports and reconciliations

• Monitor monthly budget variances through fluctuation analysis

• Prepare audit schedules

• Participate in team concepts and promote a team effort; perform duties in accordance with company policies and procedures

• Work with confidential information in a professional and responsible manner

• Assist with projects and duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required

• Minimum of 3 years of professional level accounting experience

• CPA or CPA eligible preferred

• Advanced knowledge of fixed asset accounting required

• Strong ability to work individually or in a team setting

• Strong ability to give attention to detail and to perform multiple tasks at the same time

• Experience and strong understanding of internal control

• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required, Workday preferred;

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
