Job Title: SQA Engineering Manager

Job Location: McLean, VA (100% telework permitted anywhere in the U.S.)

Job Description: Develop and execute formal test strategy/plan, execute test cases, and validate test results. Provide technical support on/for Software Test Metrics. Collect and analyze test metrics for assigned projects, to recommend improvement actions. Coordinate and lead testing for assigned projects. Work with stakeholders, including functional leads, architects, and business/systems analyst, to determine testing requirements. Track and report QA metrics, including defects, defect counts, and test results/status. Track project progress, provide status updates, and manage stakeholders' expectations. Lead test engineering team, assign tasks for team members. Document and assist with the resolution of complex problems/issues.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Systems, or related field and 8 years of experience in any occupation involving Software Quality Assurance. Employer will accept a single-source Bachelor’s Degree or a Combination Sources Degree.

Position requires 8 years of experience with the following: Implementation of Software QA and test processes; Jira, bug tracking and version control systems; Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies; Iteration testing, System Testing, User Acceptance Security and Disaster Recovery Testing. Job requires 3 years of experience in the following: Middleware and Web API testing; Software Quality Assurance, Project Delivery, Operations and Service Management; UI, Functional, Database, Accessibility, and Load and Performance Testing; Test Data Management and SQL and NoSQL Databases. Job requires 2 years of experience in the following: Testing solutions integrating with AWS, Azure, OKTA or GCP.
