The Role

CAA Sports is looking for an Assistant to directly support an Agent within the Sports & Entertainment group. Our Sports & Entertainment team supports athletes looking to expand their brand into TV, motion pictures, digital, podcasts, theatre and beyond. The Assistant will also interact with entertainment clients such as production companies, directors, and producer who want to partner with athletes for on and off screen projects. 

In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, tracking client projects, having a pulse on new business opportunities and awareness on pop culture. Assistants are an important part of the CAA structure, and it is hoped that the successful candidate will ultimately become an Agent within the company. Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support, including heavy phones, coordinating meetings, managing schedules coordinating travel, and preparing expense reports 
  • Prepare for meetings and appointments with clients, partners and external stakeholders 
  • Assist in client billing and accounting needs 
  • Track the flow of ongoing client projects and relationships 
  • Aid in bringing projects from development to market 
  • General market research on sports, media and entertainment related opportunities 
  • Manage a high-volume workload and prioritize time-sensitive tasks 
  • Create materials including decks, agendas, meeting notes, one sheets, and spreadsheets 
  • General assistance to the team with ongoing projects 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Business is preferred 
  • 1+ years of relevant internships or work experience in sports 
  • Interest and/or experience in the intersection of sports and entertainment 
  • Administrative experience in coordinating travel, managing calls, emails, filing and more 
  • Excellent Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills 
  • General understanding of current sports industry and the nature of a talent agency 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Excellent organizational skills 
  • Ability to prioritize a busy workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Ability to develop business relationships at all levels 
  • Self-starter who takes initiative to explore and isn’t afraid to ask questions 

Location

  • On-Site in Nashville, TN 

Compensation
