Job Summary

Responsible for participating in project teams, researching technical topics related to Company operations, new product implementation, assisting with existing products and services and the overall upkeep and maintenance of designated areas of Construction Operations. The Construction Operations CT 2 is responsible for coordinating and prioritizing the full lifecycle of growth projects for both field and headend. The CT 2 possesses an intermediate to advanced level of industry knowledge and skill and has familiarity with tools and processes in Construction operations. They work with both internal and external partners to ensure quality meets Comcast standards while exceeding customer expectations and maintaining our competitive advantage on technology. Performs event correlation and identifies probable root cause; provides trouble isolation, basic troubleshooting and break/fix activities. This role will play a vital part in ensuring our network growth meets our customer’s needs.

This job will require to be in office 4 days a week in office with 1 day optional to work remote.

Working Hours of Operation will be between 630A-530P Pacific Standard Time

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Supervising the installation of cables and poles for overhead-underground construction while operating vehicles and trailers safely
• Monitoring project records for start dates, milestones, material costs, and labor expenditures
• Enforcing work site safety standards and conducting regular safety compliance visits and meetings
• Ensuring resources such as vehicles, equipment, and inventory are in proper working order
• Supporting project coordination, developing cost estimates, monitoring job costs, evaluating change orders, and controlling the budget for work in progress
• Generating logs and reports on construction, projects, materials, and expenditures
• Addressing customer requests and complaints with timely follow-up and resolution
• Monitoring construction crew performance against goals and objectives and providing technical guidance
• Conducting field surveys and post-construction reviews to ensure project accuracy and progress
• Coordinating all construction project phases, including meetings, surveys, permits, and plant activation, while ensuring budget adherence
• Managing subcontractors, interfacing with officials and industry representatives, and offering technical support to internal departments.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
