As a full time, non-exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Specialty Pharmacy Liaison, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

Schedule: This position is scheduled to work at 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm. 

About the Facility:  This hospital is a not-for-profit entity that is accredited by The Joint Commission. It is a regional health system consisting of two hospital locations in Gallipolis and Jackson, Ohio; multiple clinical locations; a comprehensive therapy and wellness center; a dental care facility; a variety long-term care entities including senior care and assisted living establishments in Jackson and Gallipolis; over 160 providers and more than 30 medical specialties and over 2500 employees. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy: The Pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 8:30am through 5:00pm.

Required Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-year recent experience in an outpatient hospital or retail pharmacy preferred
• Current Ohio Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
• Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
• Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements: (may be required)

• (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
• (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
• Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
• Hep B3 Series (or declination) 
• (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th  
• COVID Vaccine-Full
