What you’ll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

  • Manage Material Movement in Inventory Management System. 
  • Ensure 100% Flashed Material are consumption. 
  • Create and maintain automatic flash programs and procedures to ensure efficient flashing of components and whole vehicles 
  • Generate Flash Status Reports and Templates. 
  • Create Flash Adapters to flash electrical control units 
  • Assign and Setup Flash Stations/Stands/Machine for control units flashing. 
  • Proactive support E-Warehouse Team in Escalation topics for control units. 
  • Escalate production critical topics to management team that affect production. 
  • Collaborate in cross-functional team to solve component flashing topics. 
  • Plan system to block damage material and fault inventory via Inventory Management system. 

Location & Travel Expectations:

  • This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, South Carolina. 
  • The responsibilities of this role require daily attendance in office with in-person meetings and events regularly. 
  • Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum 3 years professional experience with expertise in automotive manufacturing engineering, production planning or project management. 
  • Extensive knowledge of vehicle engineering processes and understanding of manufacturing processes. 
  • Bachelor’s/ master’s degree in automotive technology, mechanical, electrical, software engineering or equivalent field. 
  • Strong skills at organizational navigation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration at all levels; adept at developing effective partnerships and relationships.  
  • Proficiency in advanced programming languages such as Python, C++, C#, Java or similar preferred 
  • Demonstrated ability in creative and strategic problem-solving, with experience troubleshooting vehicle systems. 
  • Proficient Project Management and communication skills 
  • Competence in data management and data mining techniques. 
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical schematics. 
  • Proficient understanding of vehicle electronic and control units.
