The Role at a Glance

 

We are excited to bring on a Specialist, Project Management Support to the Group Protection Portfolio Enablement Organization. 

 

The Specialist, Project Management Support will contribute to the execution of portfolio initiatives that are aimed at transforming the customer experience through modernizing & advancing our capabilities and business processes. This role will oversee the governance, facilitation, execution management, and trending analysis of all new work coming into the portfolio. You will be required to collaborate with varying levels of leadership in Group Protection and other functional areas of the business. The Specialist role presents the opportunity to leverage and build a wide variety of skill sets to support important multi-year strategic initiatives.

What you'll be doing

•    Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on assignments/projects for their assigned
area(s) of responsibility.
•    Champions and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise
initiatives within group protection. 
•    Provides direction on execution for new and ongoing projects/process enhancements that lead to overall effective operations
•    Works on initiatives spanning across business areas, and develops appropriate plans to ensure activities are executed to prepare for upcoming milestones 
•    Monitors and evaluates assigned initiative progress and performance against the project plan and develop appropriate mitigation plans

What we’re looking for

Must-haves:

•    1+ years experience in project/stakeholder management
·    4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
·    Strong communication skills with ability to influence and negotiate both vertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage necessary resources 
·    Able to articulate enterprise strategies and priorities 
·    Strong problem solver with ability to lead the team to push the solution and progress 
·    Strong relationship management skills 

Nice-to-haves:  
•    Working knowledge of Workplace Solutions products, processes, goals and measures 
•    Working knowledge of the business function/industry trends, user demands and pain points

The pay range for this position is $53,500 - $96,300 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretiona
