Description

GCI is seeking a mid-career SOO to serve as the interface between multiple sectors to coordinate and manage multiple high-priority processes at once. Prior work as a SOO is required as well as excellent organizational skills and a solid understanding of the customer's methods and associated work products. A successful candidate will have a solid work history and the ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Tasks

• Maintain official files and documents in an organized, searchable manner
• Prepare documentation for and present at review panels for senior officials.
• Draft and brief official documents
• Review, create, format and edit communications and correspondence
• Prepare for and help manage stakeholder engagement activities

Required Skills

• Demonstrated experience as a successful SOO
• Experience writing official communications
• Experience briefing a wide variety of audiences
• Demonstrated experience coordinating stakeholder engagements

Desired Skills

• Mastery of writing official communications
• Prior work with geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders
• Experience with and ability to travel
• Strong interpersonal skills

Education Requirement

• BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
